Paragraph 11.1
Chapter 11: Of Justification
Those whom God effectually calleth, he also freely justifieth, not by infusing Righteousness into them, but bya pardoning their Sins, and by accounting and accepting their Persons asb righteous; not for any thing wrought in them, or done by them, but for Christ’s sake alone; not by imputing Faith itself the Act of Believing, or any otherc evangelical Obedience to them, as their Righteousness, but by imputing Christ’s active Obedience unto the whole Law, and passive Obedience in his Death, for their whole and sole Righteousness; theyd receiving, and resting on him, and his Righteousness by Faith; which they have not of themselves; it is the Gift of God.e

Romans 8:30
8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

b. Romans 4:5–8; Ephesians 1:7
Romans 4:5–8
4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
4:5 However, to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness. 4:6 And David speaks likewise of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: 4:7 "Blessed are they whose lawless acts are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 4:8 Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him."
Ephesians 1:7
1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

c. 1 Corinthians 1:30–31; Romans 5:17–19
1 Corinthians 1:30–31
1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
1:30 It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. 1:31 Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
Romans 5:17–19
5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive an abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! 5:18 So then, just as one trespass brought condemnation for all men, so also one act of righteousness brought justification and life for all men. 5:19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

d. Philippians 3:8–9; Ephesians 2:8–10
Philippians 3:8–9
3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
3:8 More than that, I count all things as loss compared to the surpassing excellence of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 3:9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God on the basis of faith.
Ephesians 2:8–10
2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, 2:9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.

e. John 1:12; Romans 5:17
John 1:12
1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
1:12 But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God-
Romans 5:17
5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive an abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
